Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate dev releasing new game this Christmas

Armature Studio, the developer behind Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, will release a “non-Arkham game” this Christmas, according to a recent announcement on Twitter.

The developer did not provide details as to what the new title might be, though it did clarify to Twitter users that it is “not a phone game.” Blackgate, Armature’s current project, is the handheld side-story to Batman: Arkham Origins. The studio has also worked on Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PlayStation Vita.

Armature Studio was founded in 2008 by former members of Retro Studios, the developer behind Metroid Prime: Trilogy. For more on the developer’s current work, check out our hands-on preview from PAX Prime 2013.
