CCP Games has hired Jean-Charles Gaudechon as executive producer of the company's first-person shooter Dust 514.
Gaudechon's previous work includes a stint as executive producer for Electronic Arts in Stockholm, Sweden where he oversaw Battlefield: Play4free and Battlefield Heroes. He also headed up EA's online racing MMO Need for Speed World.
Dust 514 was launched in May as a PlayStation 3, free-to-play exclusive. Gaudechon reports to Sean Decker, senior vice-president of product development at CCP, who was previously a senior exec at Electronic Arts' Play4Free division.
"In addition to his extensive experience in the free-to-play space, Jean-Charles brings a tremendous sense of product vision and creativity," said Decker. "His track record of developing major online titles will serve the growth of Dust 514 very well."
