Oculus playing host to virtual reality conference

The future of virtual reality gaming will be discussed at an event planned for early next month, hosted by senior engineers from Oculus.

On Nov, 2, Oculus COO Laird Malamed will lead a day-long symposium of debates and demonstrations of virtual reality and game development. Scheduled sessions at the Future of Virtual Reality with OculusVR include technical Q&As, developer and employment workshops and hands-on time with the Oculus Rift.

The event is set to take place at the Microsoft Nerd Center in Cambridge, Mass. Entrance is free although charitable donations to the Boston Children's Hospital are encouraged.
