Twitch's New York Comic Con livestream begins Oct.11

Twitch live streaming coverage of New York Comic Con will begin Oct. 11, the company and ReedPOP announced today, capturing content the event's Main and Empire Stages and more.

Noteworthy panels include Batman: Arkham Origins with game producer Eric Holmes and voice actors Roger Craig Smith (Batman) and Troy Baker (the Joker).  Footage from the showfloor along with interviews and content captured from the Twitch booth will also be broadcast live on Twitch. Visitors to the booth include publishers and developers such as Ubisoft, 2K and Trendy Entertainment. The full schedule can be viewed in full on the New York Comic Con dedicated streaming schedule page.

"With a stellar line-up of pop culture content spanning high profile video games to TV shows and movies, New York Comic Con continues to rise in popularity," Twitch's content director said Jon Carnage in a prepared statement. "By live streaming some of the convention's most compelling content, we offer a window into the array of happenings to those who can't make the journey. A snapshot of this caliber will be what brings them out next year."

Ubisoft's The Next Level, online and event-based tournaments for players at all skill levels, will also be streamed by Twitch. Streaming of the  The Next Level at New York Comic Con begins Thursday, Oct. 10 at 3:00 p.m. ET and the full schedule can be viewed on the Ubisoft blog.

New York Comic Con will take place Oct. 11-13 in New York. Polygon will be reporting live to bring you all of the news.
