Sony officially unboxes the PS4

The official PlayStation 4 unboxing video released by Sony today offers consumers another look at the next-generation hardware and gives them a run-down at what they can expect when they receive the console.

The video highlights the unboxing of the North American bundle, which contains a 500GB PS4 system, quick start guide, DualShock 4 controller, HDMI cable, AC power cord, mono headset and USB cable.

The package also includes a network voucher for $10 in credit for the PlayStation Store, which can be redeemed for entertainment items such as games, movies and television shows. The PS4 will also ship with vouchers for a 30-day trial for PlayStation Plus and a trial for Sony's streaming music service, Music Unlimited.

Last week, Yasuhiro Ootori, director of the PS4's mechanical engineering team, showed off the hardware in a teardown video. The teardown offered a peak at the console's motherboard, AMD's 64-bit, 8-core APU, 500 GB hard drive, fans, heat syncs, internal power supply and more.

The system will launch in North America on Nov. 15 and Europe Nov. 29.
