The Wi-Fi model of the PlayStation Vita has been discounted temporarily at RadioShack, undergoing a $40 price cut down to $159.99 while supplies last.

The discount was applied this morning to both the 3G and Wi-Fi models of Sony's portable gaming device, though the former quickly sold out. The offer will also expire on Nov. 16, though it's possible RadioShack could sell out before then. The sale comes just a few days before the launch of Sony's PlayStation 4, which will leverage the Vita hardware for remote streaming of certain games.

The offer is only available through RadioShack's online store, which offers free shipping on any orders over $25.
