Sega shows pea-shooting Plants vs Zombies arcade cabinet

Sega Amusements has unveiled its new arcade machine based on Plants vs. Zombies, due to be shown at next week's International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) annual convention.

Plants vs. Zombies: The Last Stand is a shooting game featuring a swivel giant pea-shooter and a garden concourse. A promotional flyer for the game, based on PopCap's tower defense hit, was shown on Sega's Facebook page on Saturday, following a teaser image released early in October.

Plants vs. Zombies:The Last Stand offers an end-of-game, video-displayed QR Code that allows players to register their score online on a global high-score table. Sega has promised to show 29 games at IAAPA 2013, including Plants vs Zombies: The Last Stand and Transformers: Human Alliance.
