Rayman Legends heading to PS4, Xbox One in February 2014

Rayman Legends will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February 2014, Ubisoft announced during its quarterly investor's call today, IGN reports.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced the new ports during the conference call after laying out his thoughts on the arrival of the next-gen consoles.

"The PS4 and Xbox One will be released in a few days' time and will be a new driving force for the industry," Guillemot said. "We are confident in our capacity to rise to the short-term challenges posed by the transition phase, thanks to the very high quality of our games, which, combined with the upcoming arrival of the next-generation consoles and the traditional ramp-up of sales during the Christmas season will trigger positive momentum towards the end of the year."

Rayman Legends was announced as a Wii U exclusive but also launched for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and PS Vita earlier this year. For more on the game, check out our review.
