The film adaptation of the Assassin's Creed series is coming to theaters Aug. 7, 2015, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Previous reports suggested the film would hit theaters May 22, 2015.
Prometheus and X-Men: First Class actor Michael Fassbender is set to star in the film. Last month, Fassbender told the Daily Beast that the project is "definitely happening."
The script is being penned by Academy Award nominated screenwriter Scott Frank.
