Those who have not pre-ordered a PlayStation 4 still have the chance to purchase the console during the midnight launch event in New York City on Nov. 15, PlayStation senior director of product publicity Jennifer Clark announced on the official PlayStation Blog.
Sony will have 444 units available for sale at The Standard, High Line Hotel, with lines starting immediately at Washington and Little West 12th. Clark warns only credit cards will be accepted.
The midnight launch event will also comprise of an arcade with 30 kiosks, in addition to an interactive lighting installation. On Thursday, pictures of the design process behind the creation of PS4 titles will be projected on the north side of the building.
Live PlayStation 4 games will also be shown projected across the hotel, with developers and producers at hand to play them. Attendees will have the chance to get their hands on the games; however, Sony has not revealed which will be available.
Finally, prior to the midnight release, a large art installation will showcase interactive content and real-time art jams before the event is broadcast at 11 p.m. ET prior to the midnight sale.
