Bravely Default arriving Feb. 7 in North America
The Square Enix RPG will also be offered as a Collector’s Edition in North America, featuring the game, an art-book, 34 Augmented Reality cards and a soundtrack. The game is due to be released in Europe and Australia on Dec. 6, also with a Collector’s Edition which offers an additional figurine.
Nintendo talked about the game during its Nintendo Direct program this morning, detailing some of its battle-mechanics, including an ability to freeze time to attack enemies, using sleep points accrued while the game is in sleep-mode. The ‘Brave and Default’ system allows players to shield themselves throughout a turn, building up attack points which can be used later.
