Wii U Super Mario 3D World commercial aims for the family

Nintendo's new commercial ropes in Super Mario 3D World to sell the idea of family time.

Featuring precocious kids demonstrating the benefits of the new Mario game's four-play co-op and touchscreen, the ad seeks to reconnect parents with their kids through the Nintendo brand. With a new Mario platform game and a recently reduced $299 price for Wii U, this is a big Holiday season for Nintendo, which is seeking to attract the casual user who remembers the good times with previous consoles, while Sony and Microsoft battle for early next-gen adopters.
