Worms 3 received a free expansion today that brings new levels and more to Team17 Software's artillery-based multiplayer strategy game.
The update brings six new campaign levels set in the Junkyard theme, a new Body Count level also set in the Junkyard, a new Fire Fighter card pack with five new playing cards and Christmas-themed items and weapons. Team17 also added a separate button for double-jumping and rolled out a series of bug fixes in the Junkyard update.
The iOS game for iPad and iPhone is also on sale for a limited time in honor of the franchise's upcoming 18th birthday, which it will celebrate this Sunday, Nov. 17. You can now purchase Worms 3 for $0.99 in the App Store, a $4 discount off of its normal $4.99 price.
