Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Arcade's newest fighter is a GothLoli Russian-styled martial artist

The latest video for the arcade version of Team Ninja's Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate reveals that the game features a new fighter called Marie Rose, a Swedish gothic Lolita.

Marie Rose's fighting style is based on a Russian martial art called Systema, a military fighting style with an emphasis on controlling the six body levers through pressure points and striking. The fighter reveal follows Siliconera's report last month that the arcade game will feature a brand new unannounced character not previously featured in console versions of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate.

The arcade version is based off Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate and is slated to hit arcades in Japan this winter. A western release for the arcade edition has not yet been announced. Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate launched across North America, Europe, Australia and Japan for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Spetember.

Polygon has reached out to a Tecmo Koei representative asking if Marie Rose will make it onto the console version.
