NBA 2K14 launching Nov. 19 on Xbox One

NBA 2K14 will be released next Tuesday, Nov. 19, on Xbox One, publisher 2K Sports announced today.

That's a few days ahead of the launch of the console itself, which will occur a week from today on Friday, Nov. 22. The PlayStation 4 version of the game became available today alongside the PS4.

NBA 2K14 developer Visual Concepts has redesigned the game for next-generation consoles; it's not a better-looking port of the current-generation version. For more on the game, check out our preview of its revamped franchise mode, MyGM, as well as a recent preview and our interview with senior producer Rob Jones on how Visual Concepts wanted to set the bar for next-generation gaming with NBA 2K14.

You can see NBA 2K14 gameplay footage in a clip from our 12-hour PS4 livestream this past week, and check out a new trailer for the game below.
