Modders on Romhacking.net revamped the NES demake of Final Fantasy 7 to create an experience that resembles "the original PS1 version more accurately."

The unofficial port was originally released by ShenZhen Nanjing Technology in China. According to modder Lugia2009, the new port is "a complete overhaul" of the original game and improves its graphics, music and more. A complete list of changes is available through Romhacking.net.

According to the mod's page, the demake took four years to create. The Final Fantasy 7 NES mod is available to download on Romhacking.net.
