Dota 2 getting Stanley Parable announcer pack

Samit Sarkar (he/him) is Polygon’s deputy managing editor. He has more than 15 years of experience covering video games, movies, television, and technology.

Dota 2 players will eventually have the ability to bring the voice of The Stanley Parable into their game, said Stanley Parable developer Galactic Cafe on Twitter last week.

"Sitting down with [co-developer William Pugh] to begin writing the Stanley Parable Dota 2 announcer pack," said Davey Wreden, one of the developers of The Stanley Parable.

The narrator of The Stanley Parable, a snarky British man voiced by Kevan Brighting, is the star of the show in the comedy title. No other details are available yet on the Dota 2 announcer pack for The Stanley Parable, but the multiplayer online battle arena title also offers one for Supergiant Games' Bastion.
