Here's where to watch Microsoft's Xbox One launch Nov. 21

Microsoft is teaming up with Spike TV to broadcast the launch of its next-gen console, the Xbox One, this Thursday, Nov. 21, at 11 p.m. ET.

According to a post on Xbox Wire, viewers will also be able to watch the festivities from Spike.com, GameTrailers, the GameTrailers app, Xbox.com and through Xbox Live as the console launches this Friday, Nov. 22.

"That's right, you'll be able to experience all the thrills of our New York City and Los Angeles launch celebrations without leaving the comfortable confines of your own home," the post reads. "Watch in horror as our Dead Rising 3 zombies descend on Times Square, enjoy interviews with fans and game developers, check out gameplay from highly anticipated Xbox One titles, and pump up the jams with live performances from Deadmau5 and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis."

Last week, Microsoft announced that it would be celebrating the Xbox One's launch with retail events in cities like New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Sydney. Friday's festivities are similar to those Sony sponsored during the PlayStation 4's release last week.
