A series of Battlefield 4 patches due out in the coming weeks will address a host of issues on multiple platforms, according to a thread updated today on the game's official forums.
The post begins by acknowledging that developer EA DICE is "aware of the frequent crashes in Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4" and that it is working to "get a game update out early next week."
On other platforms, the developer is currently testing an update for the Xbox 360 version of the first-person shooter. Though no details were given, the developer hopes to have it deployed "soon." An update for the Windows PC version of the game is also underway and is "aimed at fixing a number of remaining issues in the game." EA DICE will release further information about the update's contents and release "at a later date" in the same thread.
Battlefield 4 launched Oct. 29 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC, Nov. 15 for PS4 and will be available for the Xbox One's launch this Friday, Nov. 22. You can read and watch Polygon's Battlefield 4 review for our take on the FPS.
