The Room 2 launches for iPad Dec. 12, Android in 2014

Fireproof Games will release a sequel to its 2012 puzzle title, The Room, for iPad Dec. 12, Pocket Gamer reports.

In The Room, players must figure out how to open a series of boxes. Its sequel, The Room 2, will follow a similar vein. The game will be available for $4.99 on iPad, while a release on iPhone and Android will follow in 2014.

Fireproof's first entry in the series was awarded Best Gameplay during the Unity Awards in 2013, along with several other awards and nominations.
