The Mac beta for free-to-play massively multiplayer online title Star Trek Online launches Nov. 12, according to a post on the game’s official forums.

The announcement was originally made during a livestream by community manager Brandon Felczer. Felczer later confirmed the date via the forum post; no other details were provided.
The beta starts the day of the game’s season eight launch. Season eight will add new Klingon starships, the Voth alien faction, end-game content and more.
Star Trek Online launched for Windows PC in 2010.
