PlanetSide 2 players' shared stories could become graphic novels

To commemorate the one-year anniversary of PlanetSide 2, European players are being given the opportunity to turn their personal in-game experiences into graphic novels, European publisher ProSiebenSat.1 Games announced today.

Players have until Dec. 17 to submit their stories to the "Share your WarStories" campaign. These tales will be presented to the European PlanetSide 2 community between Dec. 4 and Jan. 7, with other players voting on which stories they think should be turned into comics. Winning stories will be chosen by a team at ProSiebenSat.1 Games and announced on Jan. 21 before entering production with German artist Colin M. Winkler.

The final "Share your WarStories" graphic novels will be released on May 13, 2014. All WarStories finalists will receive retail copies of PlanetSide 2, while all first, second and third place winners will receive PlanetSide 2-themed gear including Mad Catz gaming mice and hoodies.

Additionally, PlanetSide 2 players now have access to the One-Year Anniversary bundle, which adds a number of in-game goods to players' arsenals. The bundle includes a six-month Heroic Boost, multi-piece One-Year Anniversary Camo set, a handful of Headshot Decals and a score of new weapons. According to a press statement, the bundle has a value of €100 and is available for purchase through the PlanetSide 2 Shop for 3.99 in Station Cash.

PlanetSide 2 is currently available on Windows PC and set to launch on PlayStation 4 next year.
