Crimson Dragon receives difficulty and pricing tweaks ahead of launch

Based on player feedback, Crimson Dragon will receive balance changes and in-game price adjustments ahead of its release on Xbox One this week, the game's director Yukio Futatsugi wrote on the official Xbox website, outlining that the game will continue to receive updates post launch via the console's cloud.

"I want you to feel like you've accomplished something each time you master a mission," he wrote, explaining that the game was designed to be challenging. "To be proud of each dragon you've worked so hard to evolve to its ultimate form. My challenge as the game director is to find the sweet spot of adhering to my vision for the game while keeping the game from becoming too frustrating."

Experience points awarded to players dragons after each successful and failed mission have been increased. The cost of items have been reduced and the availability of in-game credits have been increased throughout the game. Casual and Classic difficulty modes have been tweaked to match their "intended level of difficulty."
