World of Warcraft gets new mount and pet for charity

World of Warcraft players can now contribute to charity by buying a new mount and new pet, developer Blizzard Entertainment announced today.

The massively multiplayer online RPG's latest mount is the Enchanted Fey Dragon, a $25 purchase in the Battle.net Shop. Also available is the Alterac Brew Pup (image above), a "brewhound" that costs $10 in the store.

For purchases of the Alterac Brew Pup between now and 2:59 a.m. ET on Jan. 1, 2014, half of the price ($5) will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Players can also pick up World of Warcraft's first charity bundle, which offers both the Brew Pup and the Fey Dragon at a $5 discount ($30) while still sending $5 to Make-A-Wish.

You can see both the mount and the pet in action below.
