High-speed endless runner Race the Sun has been granted Steam Greenlight approval and will be available via Steam on Dec. 9 for Linux, Mac and Windows PC
Set in a sleek, minimalist world, the game was launched via the developer's own website in August, priced at $10, after raising a $20,000 development fund earlier in the year.
According to developer Flippfly, modifications to the game have been ongoing throughout the Greenlight campaign, which relies on user votes in order to gain access to Steam's online store. "We struggled to get upward movement early on," offered programmer Aaron San Filippo in a blog post. "But we continually listened to our community's feedback and kept improving the game."
