Players of popular mobile game Puzzle & Dragons are due to be offered an Angry Birds-themed adventure area.
GungHo Online Entertainment and Rovio Entertainment today announced plans for an Angry Birds event dungeon, featuring characters from the pig-flinging physical puzzler, running from Nov. 18 through Dec. 1. Puzzle & Dragons is a monster-collection and puzzle game that is especially successful in Japan.
Rovio said it would be holding a contest to ask Angry Birds fans to submit illustrations based on how they would like to see the game featured in Puzzle & Dragons.
"Angry Birds is one of the most recognizable entertainment franchises in the world," said GungHo's Daisuke Yamamoto. "We're thrilled to be working alongside Rovio to give our fans a look at what it would be like if Angry Birds characters invaded the world of Puzzle & Dragons."
