Lego Minifigures Online beta registrations now open

Funcom's massively multiplayer online game, Lego Minifigures Online, is now accepting registrations for its closed beta, the studio announced today.

Those who are interested in testing the game before its scheduled 2014 launch can register here. The first phase of testing is due to begin in early November. Those who are accepted into the closed beta will also be eligible for the game's open beta when it eventually launches.

The game is a cross-platform multiplayer title for Windows PC, web browsers and iOS and Android devices. It will be free-to-play and is tied to a Minifigures toy line that is slated to launch at the same time as the game itself. Players will be able to visit the Lego Pirate World, Space World, Medieval World and more, and also collect Minifigures and develop their abilities.

Lego Minifigures Online is due to launch in the second half of 2014.
