Massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Ragnarok Online, is now available as a free-to-play title on Steam for Windows PC.
The game features PVE and PVP components and hosts bi-weekly Guild vs. Guild events. The game jams in all of the content from the past decade as well as the newer maps, classes, instanced dungeons and PVP arenas.
Initially launched in Korea in 2002, Ragnarok Online was later released to North America in 2003 and Europe in 2004. Its sequel, Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second, launched via Steam for Windows PC in June in North America.
It was reported in July that Chinese developer Dream² is developing a browser-based version of the MMO franchise called Ragnarok Online: Prequel. You can check out a trailer of the new game here.
