The Oddboxx bundle consisting of the first four Oddworld games will arrive on the European PlayStation Network tomorrow for £15.99/€19.99, according to an announcement on the official Oddworld website, outlining that the package may not see a release in U.S. regions due to publishing issues.
While the Oddboxx was approved for sale with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) can not release the package in U.S. regions because of "technicalities regarding the product publisher code."
"While in SCEE territories, Oddworld is listed as the publisher on all four titles (so there's no issue), but in SCEA, Oddworld is only the publishers on two of the titles," the Oddworld post states. "So at the moment, while we're hoping to find a solution, we're not able to release the Oddboxx to you lovely American folks at this time. We'll have to see."
The Oddboxx contains Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, as well as Munch's Oddysee HD and Stranger's Wrath HD for the PS3. Fans will also receive an Oddworld "Abe Moon" Avatar.
