Gran Turismo 6's Course Maker app will allow players to create their own maps for the driving simulator, according to the game's official website.
Course Maker's track creation tools will be available through an update to Polyphony Digital's PlayStation 3 game after its Dec. 6, 2013 release. A future update will allow players to create tracks using GPS coordinates gathered by the mobile app.
"Additionally, in another update we will add the possibility to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course," the official website reads. "This GPS-generated tracks will be available in the game as playable content."
