Microsoft is handing out free copies of the upcoming free-to-play fighter Killer Instinct and its next-gen console, Xbox One, to members of its community.
The console appears to come with a copy of Forza Motorsport 5. According to a tweet from the official Xbox account, users were selected based on Gamerscore, Xbox Live tenure and "other factors in markets where Xbox One is available."
A separate offer for the next-gen version of Killer Instinct is also being emailed to community members. According to the email, all characters in the game have been unlocked "so you can hit the ground running." Killer Instinct launches as a free title alongside the Xbox One, but will charge players for most of its roster. Instructions on how to claim the game will be emailed on Nov. 22 when the console hits retailers.
