A new trailer for NBA Live 14 discusses how the use of real-time NBA data changes how the game is made and how players interact with it.
With the LIVE Season and CourtQ modes, the developers of NBA Live 14 intend to update the game regularly reflecting results of actual NBA matches. According to the trailer, within an hour or so after a real-life game concludes, the video game will be updated with players who underperformed, had a hot streak or were injured. The game will also challenge players to imitate the performance of the real-life stars.
NBA Live 14 launches for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 19, though consumers purchasing an Xbox copy of the game will have to wait until that console itself launches on Nov. 22 in order to play it.
