Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore hits Kickstarter

Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore, a party-based fantasy role-playing game from Guido Henkel and G3 Studios, is seeking $390,000 via Kickstarter.

Henkel, the developer behind Planescape: Torment, announced Deathfire in April via a series of posts on his website. The game is a first-person single-player title in which players customize and build their own party. Each character has a full set of traits that determine their abilities. As players explore the game's world and battle monsters, they'll build traps and tools to assist them on their journey.

You can watch the developer's pitch above. Backers tiers begin at $5 and extend to $10,000, with rewards such as a copy of the game, digital soundtrack, art book and collectible figurine.

The Kickstarter campaign ends Dec. 7.
