Lego Lord of the Rings out on iOS devices today

TT Games announced today that Lego Lord of the Rings — a game that was originally released in 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, 3DS, PS Vita and Windows PC — is now available on iOS devices.

The game, which is priced at $4.99 on the iTunes App Store, has been optmized for touch devices. Managing director of TT Games Tom Stone said in a statement that the development team implemented "the same quality gameplay mechanics with enhanced features specifically designed for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch."

Players will be able to play as their favorite Fellowship members in Lego form, like Frodo, Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas and more. More than 90 characters can be unlocked in the game.
