An open beta for World of Tanks Xbox 360 Edition is taking place this weekend, and it's the last opportunity for pre-launch players to register for beta access.
The open beta begins today and runs through Sunday, after which the beta will only be available to those already in the game.
As a bonus from publisher Wargaming, all players who register, download and play the game during the overall beta will receive a premium USA T14 tier III heavy tank at launch. On Saturday, Nov. 9, players who play five battles between 5 p.m. PST and 8 p.m. PST will qualify to receive a USA Ram II tier V medium tank when the game comes out. A double XP promotion is also being run for part of the weekend.
World of Tanks Xbox 360 Edition is a free-to-play multiplayer combat game, that was first announced at Microsoft's E3 press conference. Read Polygon's in-depth look at the game here.
