The latest update for endless runner Temple Run 2, available now, adds a new raging water rapids obstacle course as well as a slew of holiday content, developer Imangi Studios announced today.
Temple Run 2 update brings raging rapids and Santa Claus today

For a limited time, players can unlock Santa Claus as a playable character as well as several holiday-themed artifacts, including candy canes, holly, presents, stockings and wreaths. By collecting these artifacts, players can earn a Santa hat, which can be placed on any Temple Run 2 character.
The new rapids water slide course requires players to navigate through them by swiping the touchscreen, making turns and ducking obstacles such as fallen trees and large rocks. A handful of new masks can also be collected in this course.
Temple Run 2 launched in Jan. 2013 and is available for free through the iTunes App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store.
