Samurai Gunn now available on PC, 20 percent off through 2013

Samit Sarkar (he/him) is Polygon’s deputy managing editor. He has more than 15 years of experience covering video games, movies, television, and technology.

Samurai Gunn, the multiplayer Bushido brawler from Teknopants, is now available on Windows PC, publisher Maxistentialism announced today.

Interested parties can purchase Samurai Gunn directly from Maxistentialism on the game's website, or through Steam. Samurai Gunn regularly costs $14.99, but it is on sale for $11.99 — a 20 percent discount — through the end of 2013.

The bloody two- to four-person brawler, which only supports local competitive play, gives each player nothing more than a gun with three bullets and a sword. Samurai Gunn requires quick reflexes and decision-making, and in that way resembles Matt Thorson's TowerFall. Teknopants plans to release Samurai Gunn on Mac soon, and the game will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita next year.
