Angry Birds Go is now available on iOS, Android, Windows 8 devices and Blackberry 10 today, developer Rovio announced.
Angry Birds Go, which Rovio touts as its first major free-to-play title within the Angry Birds franchise and the studio's first kart racer, sets players on Piggy Island to participate in 3D races as the series' iconic characters. Players can race as birds Red, Chuck, Stella or the King Pig in 50 different soapbox karts. Track environments range from normal speedways to canyons and stunt courses.
Angry Birds Go will also integrate with Hasbro's Telepods toys, which allow players to "teleport" their figurine characters and karts into the game. Rovio, in partnership with toymaker Hasbro, will launch a line of karts, tracks and other objects to for use with Angry Birds Go.
Angry Birds Go can be purchased through the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Windows Phone Store or Blackberry World.
