Lightning Returns Collector’s Edition available exclusively through Square Enix store

Square Enix will offer a special Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 Collector’s Edition exclusively through its online store, the company announced today.

For $89.99, in addition to a copy of the game for either PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, players will get an 80-page hardcover artbook including a foreward by art director Isamu Kamikokuryo, an in-depth retrospective of the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy, a look at the full range of Lightning Returns’ customization options, original sketches by designer Tetsuya Nomura and more.

Buyers will also get a silver embossed pocket watch featuring the Lightning Returns logo, all wrapped up in a collector box featuring the Japanese cover art for the game.

The Collector’s Edition will also include two DLC outfits for Lightning from Final Fantasy 7, Aerith Gainsborough’s flower girl dress and Cloud Strife’s SOLDIER 1st class gear.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, the final chapter in the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy, will launch on Feb. 11, 2014 in North America and Feb. 14, 2014 in Europe. The game launched in Japan last month.
