Hearthstone’s latest closed beta patch went live today, introducing changes to the game’s Ranked Play system and adding features like being able to identify your most recently-played opponent.
Hearthstone’s latest patch changes ranked play and quest abandonment

One of the biggest changes introduced in patch 1.0.0.4217 is a visual update to the Ranked Play and Unranked Play tabs, which now make it obvious to players which mode they’re about to dive into. All players entering the revamped Ranked Play mode will start at Rank 25: Angry Chicken. The new Ranked Play system also offers month-long seasons that reset at the end of each month and there are new ranks and minion portraits for all levels of player.
In addition, the patch offers general updates including the ability for players to abandon one quest per day. When abandoned, a new, random question will take the previous quest’s place. Players can now also opt into seeing other Hearthstone players on from their local network on their friends list.
