To celebrate its ten millionth sale of Minecraft for Xbox 360, Microsoft is offering a 50 percent discount on skin and texture packs this Saturday.
The offer, announced today by Larry Hryb, Microsoft's director of programming for Xbox Live on his Major Nelson blog, includes the Fantasy, Natural and Plastic Texture Packs and the Battle & Beasts and Festive Skin Packs all of which normally cost between $1 and $1.99.
Mojang's Windows PC version of Minecraft also passed a milestone today. "The original version of Minecraft has now passed 13 million copies sold," tweeted the game's creator Markus 'Notch' Persson. "Official statement: whoa."
