World of Tanks maker Wargaming.net is opening up the beta for the game's Xbox 360 version to Xbox Live users around the globe this weekend, from Dec. 13-15, the studio announced today.
According to Wargaming.net, this will be the last period of beta testing before the launch of World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition.
Xbox Live Silver members can get in on the beta thanks to the seven-day free trial that Wargaming.net has been offering; even if non-Gold members have previously used up their week of time, the trial period will be reset, so they can check out the beta this weekend. The beta now includes British tanks.
All players can earn rewards by partaking in the beta. Those who play at least 10 matches on Saturday, Dec. 14, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET will receive seven days' worth of Premium Account status in the Xbox 360 Edition when it is released.
Wargaming.net has yet to announce a release date for World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition. For more on the game, which is developed at Wargaming West, check out our feature from E3 2013.
