Microsoft's Countdown to 2014 sale on the Xbox Live Marketplace kicks off tomorrow with discounts on Borderlands 2 and the its add-on content, according to a post on the Major Nelson blog.
The Countdown to 2014 sale will offer new waves of discounts each day starting tomorrow and ending on Jan. 1, 2014. Discounted content includes games, DLC, avatars and other Xbox Live goodies available through the Xbox Game Store.
Beginning tomorrow, Borderlands 2 Xbox 360 players can grab the full game through Games on Demand at 75 percent off its regular price, while the second Vault Hunter Upgrade pack, Krieg the Psycho character and Headhunter mission one TK Baba's Bloody Harvest are available at 50 percent off. The Borderlands 2 season pass is also available for 33 percent off.
Additionally, sandbox adventure Terraria is available through the Xbox Live Arcade for 67 percent off.
The Countdown to 2014 sale will host additional specials until the new year, including a large sale on a number of Games on Demand, Arcade titles and add-on content until Dec. 23. This latest batch of additional sales includes Games on Demand titles BioShock Infinite, FIFA 14 and NHL 14, as well as Arcade games like Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Guardians of Middle-earth.
