Man at Arms creates Kratos sword Blades of Chaos
Man at Arms is a video show about Tony Swatton’s attempts to smith up blades based on fictional artifacts. Earlier this year he fashioned a sword from League of Legends. The Kratos blade was crafted using 4130 Chromaly Steel with the hilt modeled using Chavant oil-based clay, molded with silicon rubber ands cast in bronze.
“Kratos’ sword is ginormously huge so I shortened it down so that it would be wieldable,” said Swatton, who has created weapons as props for hundreds of movies. “It’s almost something you could carry.”
