The Evil Within’s new screenshots aren’t very welcoming

A quartet of new screenshots for Shinji Mikami’s The Evil Within shows a handful of locations that most people would rather stay away from.

Whether it’s the blood-spattered walls with handprints that make it look like someone was climbing them, the mutilate corpses hanging from the ceiling or the giant man with a giant hammer in a butchers’ apron, these locales don’t appear to be prime vacation destinations.

The Evil Within is planned to hit PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC in 2014.
