Yoshi’s New Island coming to 3DS spring 2014

Platformer Yoshi’s New Island is being headed by Takashi Tezuka, creative director of 1995 SNES title Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island.
The game’s art style is similar to that of previous Yoshi games, with backgrounds drawn as though they are created from crayons, watercolors or oil paints. Yoshi will continue to use eggs as projectiles in this game.
Yoshi’s New Island was first revealed, though not with its title, at E3 2013.
