Batman: Arkham Origins video goes behind the scenes with Copperhead
In order to properly motion-capture the scene’s intro with Copperhead slithering down through the rafters upon an unsuspecting Batman, the production crew built a network of pipes in their studio to replicate the in-game environment. Once they had the pipes in place, the plan required two different motion-capture actors to play the part: One circus performer contortionist who could handle the snakelike motion, and a stunt actress trained in combat to go toe-to-toe with Batman.
Batman: Arkham Origins launched in October; our review found it safe and largely competent but no magnum opus.
