Grand Theft Auto 5 and the PlayStation 4 both topped Google's most-searched list in 2013 in their respective video game and tech gadget categories.
Here’s what the PS4, GTA 5 and grumpy cat have in common
In the video games category, searches for Grand Theft Auto 5 were ahead of Cookie Clicker, Atari Breakout, Candy Crush Saga and BioShock Infinite. In tech gadgets, there were more Google searches for the PlayStation 4 than the Samsung Galaxy s4, the iPhone 5s, the iPhone 5c and the iPad Air.
These top-rankings put both GTA 5 and the PS4 in the company of the Twerk GIF (most-searched GIF of 2013), Grumpy Cat (most-searched famous internet animals), Gangnam Style (most-searched dance moves) and Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth (most-searched celebrity break-ups).
