Conifer Games’ Kickstarter-funded strategy game, At the Gates, is now set for a release in 2015, designer Jon Shafer announced via Kickstarter.
At the Gates release date pushed back to 2015

“AtG could be released as originally planned in mid-2014 as a ‘good’ game,” Shafer wrote. “But would it be one of the best strategy games ever? Probably not.”
Schafer added that the team will continue to work on the game for as long as it takes.
“While painful in the short term it will no doubt pay off over the long term,” Schafer wrote. “I think I speak for everyone in saying that what we want is an amazing game, even if it means a longer wait.”
The post also includes information on improvements and changes Conifer Games has made to At the Gates. In addition to more volatile starting locations, the game now features a tweaked economic system and borders between settlements.
At the Gates was announced for iOS, Mac and Linux in February. For more on Conifer Games and their upcoming title, check out our feature.
