Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution launching in 2014

The next installment in the Naruto series, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, will launch on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2014, Namco Bandai announced today.

The anime fighting game is being developed by CyberConnect 2 and will feature anime visuals in a 3D environment. New game design features include Combination Ultimate Jutsu attacks, which allow characters to combine their powers to create new fighting techniques.

The game will have more than 100 playable characters from both the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime series.

The Naruto: Ultimate Ninja fighting game series first launched in North America in 2006, and has since spawned titles like Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4 and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm. The latest installment will include a new character designed by Naruto's manga creator, Masashi Kishimoto.
